How supermarket Lidl boosted in-store visits and sales with Instant Experience
For years, discount supermarket chain Lidl Ireland has used printed leaflets and flyers to publicise many of its offers or weekly specials and to drive customers in-store. The challenge it faced, however, was that print marketing is hard to measure. Lidl wanted a solution that could replicate the feeling of reading a paper leaflet and that was effective at driving store visits and sales. As people use a blend of offline and online sources to research before they do their shopping, Lidl needed to meet people where they are and stay top-of-mind in its customers’ buying journey.
