Sticking with the same emotive tone as previous ads, the advertiser has enlisted a team of equines to hammer home the message that Lloyds supports a variety of customers – from teenagers to grandparents, business owners to young families.

Created by Adam&EveDDB, 'The Running of the Horses' starts with a young girl getting woken up in the middle of the night to prepare for an unknown event, she then runs down to her local beach to be greeted by a harras of horses running along the coast.

The sweet ad is soundtracked by a plinky-plonky piano cover of Olive's 1996 hit 'You're Not Alone', re-recorded by UK artist Astraea.

The ad will run across TV, cinema, digital, print, outdoor and social.

Of late, Lloyds has been focused on featuring non-visible disabilities in its advertising, after securing £1m of free airtime from Channel 4’s Diversity in Advertising award.
