Rémy Martin’s latest work honors the Chinese New Year 2023 with a cast of cultural tastemakers, including Lewis Tan, Jessica Wang and Brandon Jew.

To commemorate the Lunar New Year on January 22, Cognac brand Rémy Martin has released a new creative campaign with an illustrious cast of Asian talent, including actor and martial artist Lewis Tan, fashion influencer Jessica Wang, Michelin-starred chef Brandon Jew, photographer Kevin Wong and cultural entrepreneur Danielle Chang.

In ‘The Lunar New Year family spirit,’ the cast gathers around a table resplendent with food and drinks made with Rémy Martin XO, while a narrator elucidates how the Lunar New Year blends "the things we love with the people we love, different generations, traditions old and new.”

The campaign was concepted by creative agency Fred & Farid, in partnership with the Hong-Kong born, award-winning photographer Michelle Watt.

The Lunar New Year family spirit,’ also includes two XO tasting events in New York City on January 30 and San Francisco on February 1, both curated by Danielle Chang. Aptly called the ’Lunar New Year opulence revealed experience,’ the events will pay homage to abundance, prosperity, longevity, good fortune, and luck. Tickets will be available via Lucky Rice’s website for $88, with a portion of ticket proceeds going toward local charitable organizations, The Center for Asian American Media and Welcome to Chinatown.

“Rémy Martin celebrates diverse cultures in which rich tradition, values, and voices can be expressed from one generation to the next, while encouraging each individual to express themselves in new ways,” Rémy Martin Americas’ vice-president Tina Reejsinghani said in a statement. “While our family and traditions evolve, a table with Rémy Martin XO allows for friends and family from various cultures to join together to toast to the new year.”

To commemorate the Year of the Rabbit, Rémy Martin will also release a limited-edition XO bottle, adorned with gold, red and white foil. The bottle is currently available for purchase in stores nationwide and at online retailers for a suggested retail price of $209.99.

Meanwhile, beginning January 17th, a ‘Rémy Martin Lunar New Year family spirit tray,’ will also be available on ReserveBar for a suggested retail price of $300.
